If you have been arrested in Georgia for DUI, you have 10 business days to have your attorney contact the Department of Driver Services in an effort to stop your drivers license from being suspended. If you fail to file the 10 - day letter, your drivers license will be suspended, this is a separate process than the criminal DUI case.
